Augenhöhe e.V. thrives on the voluntary engagement of a great team. Most of the active members of Augenhöhe are tied to the Palestine, Israel and Eastern Turkey by personal experience and friendships, and therefore invest much energy and love into our projects.
Our cooperation is organised in a strictly democratic manner: All active members have equal rights and are involved in all decisions. We meet in weekly Skype conferences and at regional and trans-regional meetings, because we live in different places, mostly in Germany.
According to the demands of our education and professional lives, we use our free capacities to take on various larger or smaller tasks. These include selection, preparation, supervision and follow-up of the volunteers. Furthermore, we work on organising fund raising events; the set-up, maintenance or translation of the website and the newsletter; or the communication with partner projects.
